Frequently Asked Questions
How do we begin working with you?

We begin with a conversation — just a gentle chat about your story, your vision, and what matters most to you. From there, I guide you through the process, so your ceremony feels effortless and entirely your own.
What types of weddings do you officiate?

I officiate all kinds of ceremonies: Traditional weddings, Non-traditional, themed weddings, elopements, intimate gatherings, vow renewals, LGBTQ+ weddings, Interfaith and multicultural ceremonies. If it matters to you, it matters in your ceremony.
Can we include special rituals or traditions?

Absolutely! Your ceremony can include any meaningful rituals, whether traditional, modern, or entirely your own creation:

-
Handfasting – binding your hands together with ribbon or cord, symbolizing union
-
Rose Ceremony – exchanging a single rose as your first gift to one another
-
Unity Candle or Sand Ceremony – blending two lives into one.
-
Ring Warming – passing your rings among loved ones for their blessings
-
Wine Box or Love Letter Ritual – saving a message for the future to open together.
-
Jumping the Broom – honoring heritage and family traditions
-
Tree or Plant Planting – symbolizing growth and nurturing your marriage
-
Personalized Vow Exchange – with guidance or full support
-
Wine or Beer Blending Ceremony – modern twist on unity symbolism
-
Family or Pet Blessings – including those most dear to your hearts
-
Sand or Water Mixing Variations – creative, visually symbolic options for blending your lives.
-
Custom Rituals – creating a unique ceremony element that reflects your personalities, hobbies, or passions. If there’s a ritual that calls to your hearts and isn’t listed here, we will make space for it — because your ceremony should feel entirely your own.
Will you help us write our vows?

Yes. I can guide you with prompts, examples, and gentle coaching to help your vows feel personal and authentic. You may choose to write your own, or I can help weave them seamlessly into the ceremony.
Do you travel for weddings?

Yes. I would be honored to travel to your location, near or far. Whether it’s a backyard, a forest clearing, a mountaintop, or a destination wedding, I am happy to come to you.
How far in advance should we book?

I recommend reaching out as early as possible — ideally 6–12 months before your wedding — to ensure your date is available and we have time to craft something truly special.
However, if your hearts are calling for a last-minute, romantic ceremony, don’t worry — we can make that happen too. Love doesn’t wait, and neither should your story.
How do we reserve our date?

Once we’ve connected and confirmed your date, a simple agreement and deposit secure your spot. The deposit is required and non-refundable, as it covers the time and care I dedicate to crafting your ceremony. From there, we begin shaping your words, your story, and your moment together.
What if we want a vow renewal instead of a wedding?

Vow renewals are sacred and deeply personal — whether it’s been one year or fifty. I approach them with the same care and tenderness as a wedding ceremony, creating a moment that reflects your shared journey.
How can we reach you?

The simplest way is to fill out my contact form. Share a bit about your story and your vision, and I’ll respond personally, with care.
